With a small group of only 36 guests, this tour provides an intimate and unique adventure. Viper is custom-built for comfort and speed, featuring Rolls Royce jets that ensure a fast ride with minimal environmental impact.

Your travel itinerary
Check in at Coral Sea Marina, North Village, Meeting Point B. Our crew will provide you with snorkel suits or wetsuits, along with masks, goggles, and fins. Once on board, you can store your gear in the convenient side pockets and strap in. After a quick safety briefing from our crew, we’ll be ready to set off!
Snorkel the Great Barrier Reef
After just over an hour of high-speed cruising, we arrive at Bait Reef, specifically the iconic Stepping Stones. Our crew will lower the stairs into the water, allowing guests to immediately begin their Great Barrier Reef snorkeling adventure. The swim platform provides ample space to move around, and the stairs offer easy access into the water. Marvel at the hundreds of colorful fish and the diverse coral types. You can join our snorkel guide for a guided experience or explore at your own pace. We will spend approximately an hour and a half at the reef.
Visit Hill Inlet Lookout
Just half an hour from the reef, we arrive at Tongue Bay and begin the bushwalk up to the famous Hill Inlet Lookouts. Bring your camera for this spectacular photo opportunity! Marvel at the swirling sands of Hill Inlet and the stunning views along Whitehaven Beach. After taking in the sights, head back down the lookout track and return to the boat. We’ll then whisk you away at record speed to the southern end of Whitehaven Beach, where you can relax or explore at your leisure.

Heading Home
Strap in for a direct fast ride back to Airlie Beach. Viper offers courtesy transfers for guests staying at hotels within the Airlie Beach area (from Jubilee Pocket to Cannonvale).

Yes, if your child is 130cm or taller at the time of travel. The reason for this height limit is for safety. The vessel travels at incredible speeds, and every seat has a seat belt, that a small child would not be safe in. We do not carry snorkelling gear, wetsuits or life jackets for smaller children.
Viper is fast, fun and thrilling, but she is not for everyone. We do not recommend travelling on Viper if you are pregnant, or have any existing injuries, especially neck or back issues, broken bones, etc. All guests will have to sign a health and safety waiver before travelling with us on Viper.
An assortment of soft drinks are available to buy on board. Filtered water is provided free of charge.
We can cater for some dietary requirements, with advance notice. Please let us know when you book. Vegan options will incur a surcharge.
The only reason we would cancel a tour would be for the safety and comfort of our guests due to high winds or rough seas. Rain does not guarantee cancellation. We would make this decision in the afternoon on the day before travel. You will be notified as soon as possible to reschedule or receive a refund in the event of operator cancellations within 24 hours of travel.
Viper is custom designed to minimise sea sickness. But if you are prone to seasickness, it is a good idea to check with a chemist for the best preventative motion sickness medication (natural or medicated) for you. We do not sell sea sickness pills on board the boat. Please remember that tablets are a preventative, not a cure, so it’s best to take them before we depart, and bring some with you to take during the day if needed.

All prices are per person in AUD and include GST, National Park and Great Barrier Reef Marine Park entry fees, professional skipper and host, all meals, use of snorkelling equipment and stinger suits.
We reserve the right to substitute vessels without notice at any time for any reason.
We recommend you take out travel insurance covering illness, injury, loss of personal goods and the inability to travel due to weather.
Passengers should note that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst we make every effort to safeguard guests, we cannot be responsible for any damage, personal injury or loss due to the actions of passengers that are beyond our control.
All cruises are subject to weather and the vessel operator’s discretion. Please allow extra time to travel during the wet season (Dec-May) as we occasionally have road closures due to flooding.
At certain times of the year, ‘dangerous’ jellyfish inhabit these waters and passengers should take care for their own safety. Passengers entering the water do so at their own risk and the owner of the vessel will not be liable for any personal injury, illness, death or any other consequences whatsoever of passengers being stung by jellyfish. To minimise this risk, you will be provided with a full-length protective ‘Stinger Suit’ to wear whilst swimming and snorkelling during the cruise. If you choose not to wear a stinger suit, this will be at your own risk.
Accordingly, Iconic Whitsunday Adventures shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any injury to person or property which is suffered or sustained by any passenger as a result of participating in any of its water adventures, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

Checkout Process
Once your booking is complete a confirmation email will be sent to your nominated email address. The meeting time and cruise time will be shown.
A second email will be sent prior to travel requesting you to complete a pre-arrival waiver. This will speed up your morning on departure, ensuring we have your health information, agreement to our terms of travel, and more in advance.
If you do not receive an email within 24 hours of departure please call us on 0407 48 3000.
Booking Conditions and Cancellation Policy
At all times Viper crew will ensure we take the safest and most comfortable route to ensure the best experience possible, the timing of this experience is dependent on the weather.
All tours are subject to minimum numbers and to weather conditions and so may be cancelled at the discretion of the operator. We also reserve the right to alter the destination or cancel activities pending the weather or unforeseen circumstances for your safety and comfort.
In the event of inclement weather preventing us from reaching the outer reef safely, we will offer an exciting alternative itinerary visiting numerous other spots within the Whitsunday Island group for snorkelling and exploring, plus the added attraction of Nara Inlet and the Ngaro cultural site.
A strict height limit of 130cm applies to all guests riding on Viper. If a guest is found to be under this height limit on arrival, that guest will not be permitted to travel and no refund applies.
Guest Cancellations
If you, our guests cancel within 24 hours or less notice, the cancellation fee is 100%. 24 hours or more before departure, a full refund applies.
Refunds will consist of the ticket price only, exclusive of any credit card fees or surcharges paid.
Operator Cancellations
If Iconic Whitsunday Adventures cancels, guests will be refunded their payment in full, inclusive of any fees and surcharges paid.
Private Charter Cancellation Policy
Terms and conditions apply. To book a private charter, a $500 non-refundable deposit applies. The balance of your charter fee is due 14 days before travel. Confirmation of numbers is due 48 hours before travel.
Cancellation of a private charter less than 10 days before travel, no refund applies.
