Lookng for more adventures check out the Great Barrier Reef
By far the most popular reason for anyone visiting far north tropical Queensland is of course the Great Barrier Reef. This is one of the seven natural wonders of the world and is not to be missed.
Stretching an amazing 2300 km or 1429 miles from top of Cape York Peninsula in the North of Queensland and all the way down south to Bundaberg Southern Queensland.
The Great Barrier Reef is one of the the largest coral reef systems in the world. With almost 3000 individual reefs unsurprisingly it is able to be seen from space. It truly is a diver’s and snorkelers playground.
We have put together some awesome Great Barrier Reef tours out of the Cairns & Port Douglas area for you to enjoy at your leisure.
If you are wanting to spot turtles we highly recommend the following. The low Isles out of Port Douglas, Frankland Island out of Cairns and Ocean Safari from Cape Tribulation.
If you are looking at upgrading to introductory or certified diving head over to our Diving and live aboard trips.
We’re sure you’ll have the trip of a lifetime while you explore this real life marvel.
