Whether you like to dive, snorkel, or stay dry, explore the magnificent reef while relaxing just one metre underwater in a Quicksilver semi-sub. Quicksilver has a special underwater observatory and viewing platform where you can observe the fish eating. You can also soar over the reef in a helicopter.

Discover the Outer Reef
You are taken by Quicksilver to Agincourt Reef, which is located at the very edge of the Barrier Reef. In this location, unique reefs called “ribbons” run parallel to the Continental Shelf. These ribbon reefs, which are located in the Coral Sea trench, are acknowledged as the most pristine eco-systems in the reef’s ecosystem. The best underwater visibility is made possible by clear water, which also promotes the growth of vibrant coral and amazing marine life. We selected the best site to demonstrate the best of nature because we were the region’s forerunners on the outer reef.

Important info before travel
Bring along a towel, sunscreen, hat, swimwear and camera to capture your memories. Limited underwater digital cameras are available to hire onboard. A professional photographic service is also available for you to purchase photos of your day. For optional activities or onboard purchases like souvenirs or drinks from the bar, bring along your credit card or some cash.
From Cairns & Northern Beaches
Our luxury air-conditioned coaches tour Cairns and Northern Beaches passengers along one of Australia’s most beautiful scenic coastal drives with full commentary. A pick-up service is available from your accommodation. Times will be advised upon confirmation of the booking.
From Port Douglas
Coach transfers are available from your accommodation. Specific hotel transfer times will be advised at confirmation of booking.
Making your own way
Check-in time is 9.15 a.m. at the Quicksilver office at the Port Douglas Marina on Wharf Street, Port Douglas. Parking is available free of charge at the marina.

- For cancellations made after 6 p.m. on the day prior to travel, a 100% cancellation fee will apply.
- For cancellations between noon and 6 p.m. on the day prior to travel, a 50% cancellation fee will apply.
- For cancellations made before noon on the day prior to travel, no cancellation fee will apply.
- Any environmental management charge collected is to be refunded.
- Any refund given will be by the same method in which payment was made.
- On rare occasions, services can be subject to the effects of weather or unforeseen circumstances. Should a cruise not operate for any reason, passengers will be offered an alternative day of travel, or a refund will be authorised.
- A change of travel date can be made to your booking without incurring any cancellation fee.

Providing we have availability, you are welcome to change dates or, in the worst-case scenario, cancel.

Yes, providing we have availability. There are no fees to change dates; however, you must notify us a minimum of 24 hours prior to travel.
