Fraser island also now known as the traditional name K’gari is the world’s largest sand island. And in 1992 was listed as a World heritage area.
With the island measuring 132 km in length you can easily take several days exploring this amazing island. With One, Two and Three day tours available to see the island. On your journey you will see lush rainforest’s, fresh water lakes and creeks.
A popular way of seeing the island is a 3 Day night 4WD adventure called a tagalong tour. Join other likeminded travellers in a 4WD and follow the leader from the tour company. These tours are especially popular with young travellers including your food and camping equipment.
Also fully guided tours run daily if that is more your style and sit back and let your driver explain the culture history of the Fraser island.
Another option is hiring your own 4WD package for the island including camping equipment.
Important info before travel
Express Tickets can be cancelled and refunded as per the following conditions:
- 80% refund if cancelled at least 24 hours before the booked departure time
- 50% refund if cancelled within 24 hours of the booked departure time
- No refund if cancelled within 6 hours of the booked departure time, or if you have purchased a discounted RED ticket
Value Pass Tickets can be cancelled for an 80% refund provided they are not activated with any booked travel. There is no refund available on pass tickets once travel journeys are added.
Changes to travel dates and departure times can be made free of charge, provided the change is made at least 6 hours before the current departure time booked. .

All passengers are required to check in at our Sydney and Brisbane terminals at least 30 minutes prior to departure, otherwise be ready and waiting for our driver at least 20 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
A printed copy of your e-ticket is preferred for check-in and boarding but, if you do not have access to a printer then please ensure you record your booking number and present this along with your ID and any concession cards when checking in and/or boarding.
A screen shot of your booking confirmation on mobile device is also acceptable.
Luggage is limited to one bag or suitcase per passenger up to a maximum of 20 kilograms in weight, as well as one smaller item for hand luggage. Any excess bag or suitcase over the one piece limit for carriage in the luggage compartment will attract an excess fee of $10 per bag.
Excess luggage can be added to your tickets at the time of online purchase, or purchased prior to travel with credit card over the phone.
Yes, most of our coaches are seatbelt equipped, offer climate controlled air-conditioning, reclining seats, as well as on-board washroom and toilet facilities.
At the present time we do not have Wi-Fi or USB charging ports available on our coach services.
Food and drinks are generally not permitted for consumption on board our coaches. If you need to consume food for medical reasons then please let our staff and/or driver know.
There are a number of scheduled meal stops on most of our services where food and drinks can be purchased and/or consumed. Please call our reservations office on 13 34 10 for further details.
These terms and conditions apply to any bookings made with Mamm Tours and Travel Pty Ltd Trading as Cheap Az Travel.
These will apply to any bookings made over the phone/ in person/ on social platforms or online via our website. The attached vouchers/tickets have been booked by Cheap Az Travel for you as the client with various third-party companies (service providers).
Each Service Provider may have their own terms & conditions applying to your travel. (These are set by the Service Provider not Cheap Az Travel).
You are required to reconfirmation of any tour or travel at least 48 hours prior to departure. Failure to do this may result in you not being aware of any changes that may occur due to unforeseen circumstances.
You are required to become familiar with the specific supplier terms & conditions as well as the fare rules for each of your reservations. If you are uncertain of these rules, we advise you to get in contact the service provider for more clarification than what is stated on the travel voucher provided.
You are required to check the dates on your voucher match up with the itinerary requested by you or set by us.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the appropriate Driver’s License and/or Credit Card and are the require age to be able to drive any Campervan / Motorhome or Vehicle rented via Cheap Az Travel. Failure to have the required Driver’s License or Valid Credit Card may result in Total Loss of All monies paid for the Period of Hire.
Besides Each company having their own terms and conditions, Cheap Az Travel has the following terms & conditions:
- Any cancellation of travel date outside of any tour company’s terms & conditions will incur a 20% admin fee from Cheap Az Travel.
- If you decide to change your travel date there may be a price increase due to seasonal tour rates and tour company’s terms & conditions.
- If you purchase open dated tickets through Cheap Az Travel, they are valid for 12 months. If you wish to cancel open dated tickets that are not booked in for tour dates a 20% cancellation fee will incur.
- A 20% cancellation fee will incur for any Greyhound or Premier motor service bus pass purchased through Cheap Az Travel. But once you have travelled on any sector on your pass it is deemed 100% non-refundable, this includes sectors booked in that you have not travelled on but did not cancel with service provider.
- If any tour is cancelled due to weather conditions the service providers terms & conditions will apply.
- Purchasing any travels through Cheap Az Travel via credit card will incur a maximum 2% credit card fee – however we do offer bank transfer at 0% charge.
If you need to change dates on tours, transport and/or accommodation there may be price fluctuations associated with this and you will be required to pay the gap. Some Service Providers will also charge a change fee.
Date changes
Please contact the Service Provider to change the dates. Please also notify Cheap Az Travel as we are always happy to assist where we can but are still bound to the Conditions supplied by the Service Provider.
Deposits/Laybys
Deposits or partial payments known as Laybys paid to Cheap Az Travel for any part of a package, tour, bus pass, campervan or accommodation are non-refundable if you wish to cancel. Please ensure you contact Cheap Az Travel as soon as you are aware you are wanting to cancel, to minimise any cancellation fees incurred from the Service Provider.

Examples where a Cancellation Fee will apply where a tour is able to run, but you as the customer cancel: (these include, but are not limited to):
- You are unwell and unable to make your tour or feel too unwell to enjoy the tour.
- Change of mind, therefore you decide not to proceed with travel booked.
- You need to fly home for any reason.
- You are unable to reach a tour departure due to “Act of God” such as but not limited to: buses unable to get through due to flooding, buses breaking down.
- Oversleeping, therefore missing the tour departure or bus.
- You have misread the date, time or location of the start of tour, bus or accommodation.
Where cancellations are viewed as out of your control, we recommend you contact your travel insurance provider.
Cheap Az Travel always recommend you take out the appropriate travel insurance for your needs. In the instance of a tour or travel service being cancelled by the Service Provider, Cheap Az Travel will work with you to either rebook or refund you the amount you are due less any supplier chargers. This refund is subject to Cheap Az Travel being fully refunded the amount from the Service Provider who is cancelling the tour or travel service.
Different cancellation policies are applied by each Service Provider. Cheap Az Travel is bound by these cancellation policies. Please familiarise yourself with these cancellation policies at the time of purchase. Cheap Az Travel will assist in directing you to these if requested by you.
If a tour does depart but you are not able to get to the tour due to weather or other circumstances and fall within the tour company’s cancellation terms, the tour company may not refund you. We recommend getting travel insurance to cover this.
Refunds
Refunds will be placed back onto the same valid Visa or Mastercard that was used to pay for your booking. (The credit limit on our eftpos machine has a small max refund level so this make take a few refund amounts to complete.)
Refunds for amounts paid in cash will be transferred to a bank account provided by you.
Refunds will be transferred back into the existing bank account that you transferred the money from when paying for your booking.
Cheap Az Travel does not hold any Credit Card/Bank Account details so will require you to provide them from you for the refund.
Even if you advise us by phone of your request for a refund, Cheap Az Travel will require you to email us this request to: bookings@cheapaztravel.com
