Description
Excellent location for surf lessons is Noosa on the Sunshine Coast. Warm water, a secure beach, and most importantly, one of Australia’s most famous surf spots, make for ideal conditions for surf lessons or surf hiring. On the Sunshine Coast, there are many things to do. But let’s not forget why we reside in this area. We are passionate surfers that teach surfing on some of Australia’s most stunning and secure beaches.

- All the necessary learn-to-surf equipment, including soft beginner board, leg-rope, wetsuit or rash shirt (pending time of year),
- Surf instruction to suit your skill level
We offer group surf lessons for beginners and intermediate surfers from ages 6 and up, along with private lessons for those wanting a one-on-one experience. Our instructors are highly trained and fully qualified lifeguards able to teach you the basics of surfing, including ocean awareness, catching waves, board control, and standing up. We also provide all the necessary equipment, including surfboards, rash shirts, and wetsuits.
How do I get there?
Follow the directions to Hastings Street if you are driving along the parade or descending Noosa Hill. When you reach the main Hastings Street roundabout, turn left and proceed in the direction of Noosa Woods. Follow the road until you reach the mouth of the river.
Important info before travel
- Surfing lessons will not be cancelled due to rain, but maybe cancelled if the conditions are deemed to be dangerous, or if the surf is too small to run a class.
- All customers will be given a refund or a credit if the class is cancelled.
- Refunds will be given to clients if they cancel their lesson, and providing they give Go Ride a Wave at least 24 hours notice. If clients fail to arrive or cancel on the day, then they will forfeit their payment.
