Fitzroy Island Adventures’ full-day return ferry takes only 45 minutes thanks to their swift catamaran. And will follow the coastline rather than venturing out into the open sea.

You may spend the day on Fitzroy Island swimming or lounging on the beach. If you prefer to explore the island on foot, there are numerous hiking paths that snake through the rainforest and along the coast. The underwater world is also full of wonder. Including a plethora of colorful fish and coral that can be seen while snorkeling. Behold the parrotfish’s rainbow colors. Keep an eye out for clownfish dashing in and out of anemones. And discover how many different species of aquatic creatures you can spot in the Great Barrier Reef’s splendor.

Snorkel Safari tour
The Snorkel Safari is included in this package and is appropriate for individuals who are comfortable in the water and proficient snorkelers.
Exclusive access to areas that other guests do not have. A boat will transport guests and our marine biologist to one of Fitzroy Island’s several coral reefs. A fantastic introduction to the reef, complete with commentary.
The tour lasts 50 minutes. This includes snorkeling equipment. However, from November to April, vests and free lycra suits are available.
Foxy’s Bar
in addition If you’re wanting to quench your thirst, Foxy’s is a large Pacific Islands bar located just on the beach. around 100 meters south of the main creek from the resort buildings (on the way to Nudey Beach). Foxy’s Bar has the best beachside sunset view, pool tables, a dance floor, and a giant sports TV.
Foxy’s offers an outstanding casual cafe-style food menu, including children’s meals, as well as a large selection of beers, wine, and soft drinks, as well as a cocktail menu and the important cappuccino!

Fitzroy Island Adventures requires you to check-in at the Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal, located at 1 Spence Street. We offer a coach service from Cairns & Northern Beaches accommodation for an extra charge if required.
If you do not check-in at the date and time specified in your booking, then you will forfeit 100% of the total price paid.
At the discretion of Fitzroy Island Adventures , if you miss your boat departure you may be able to reschedule for another day subject to the payment of a rescheduling fee (this covers administration charges and the provision of meals where applicable).
