Just over a one hour drive West you have the town of Nimbin. Known for its alternative Lifestyle and being Australia’s most famous Hippie destination. There’s daily tours and local buses to Nimbin which makes it a great little day trip to see an alternative way of life.
Those travelling on can head north to the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Fraser island and beyond or if you’re heading south you can visit Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie, Newcastle or overnight bus it all the way to Sydney.
