There’s plenty of places to explore and even if your not a wine drinker you’ll enjoy a day out in the Barossa.
Drink Wine of course! That’s where you’re going to want a local tour guide that knows the best places to go in which case we have you covered. If however you are driving and using the spittoon then there are a few things we can of course suggest.
In terms of Barossa Valley wineries to visit there’s plenty on offer from the well known Jacob’s Creek, Penfolds and Wolf Blass to lesser known vineyards such as Saltrum and Chateau Tanunda. There’s enough that you could definitely spend a few days here trying to visit them all.
There are some villages that are worth visiting such as Lyndoch, Tanunda & Nuriootpa and driving around is just a pure delight in itself. On the way to the Barossa you can stop off at the worlds largest rocking horse and also visit the whispering wall, A damn that’s built on such a curvature that 2 people can stand on either side and hear each other whisper from the opposite end!
Other interests include Maggie beers farm shop and Steiny’s Traditional Mettwurst & Barossa Cheese. We promise your trip to here is going to be a memorable one.
