Privacy Policy

Pure Snorkelling may collect personal information, including health information, to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants. This information may be shared with tour guides or other personnel as required. We are committed to protecting your privacy and will only use your information for safety purpose

Weather

All tours are subject to weather conditions and the vessel operator’s discretion. In the event of adverse weather, Pure Snorkelling will make every effort to reschedule the tour or provide alternative options.
The boat will operate in various weather conditions, and it may be a bumpy and exhilarating ride. Forecast conditions may change unexpectedly throughout the day. Guests are encouraged to check the weather forecast up to 4 days prior to their tour date on the Cairns Coastal Waters Forecast. If you feel the conditions are not suitable for you, you may reschedule (subject to availability) or cancel without penalty if notification is given more than 24 hours in advance.
Please allow extra time for travel during the wet season (December to May) as road closures due to flooding may occasionally occur. We recommend that guests take out travel insurance covering illness, injury, loss of personal goods, and the inability to travel due to weather.

Dietary Requirements

Guests are requested to disclose any dietary requirements at the time of booking. While we will make every effort to accommodate these requirements, please note that due to the remote nature of our tours, it may be necessary for guests with special dietary needs to bring their own food.

Age Restrictions

Guests must be a minimum of 6 years of age to participate. All participants under 18 years must be accompanied by a paying adult, and a parent or guardian must sign a liability waiver on their behalf.

Marine Hazards

At certain times of the year, ‘dangerous’ jellyfish inhabit these waters, and passengers should take appropriate precautions for their own safety. Passengers entering the water do so at their own risk, and Pure Snorkelling will not be liable for any personal injury, illness, death, or other consequences resulting from jellyfish stings. To minimise this risk, guests will be provided with full-length protective ‘Snorkel Suits’ to wear while swimming and snorkelling during the tour.
Accordingly, Pure Snorkelling shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any injury to a person or property which is suffered or sustained by any passenger as a result of participating in any of its snorkelling adventures, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

Travel Insurance

Snorkelling adventures include inherent risks. While we make every effort to safeguard our clients, we cannot be held responsible for personal injury or loss due to actions beyond our control. We HIGHLY recommend that all customers obtain travel insurance covering illness, injury, loss or damage to personal belongings, road closures, flooding, and other natural disasters—particularly during the wet season—which may cause you to miss your trip.

Image Use Rights

By participating in a Pure Snorkelling tour, you agree that photos or videos taken during the tour, which may include your image, can be used by Pure Snorkelling for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, marketing materials, and our website. If you do not wish for your image to be used, please notify us in writing before your trip begins.
