The Hunter Valley is one of the major wine regions in Australia with a history that dates back to the 1800s. It’s well known for shiraz and semillon varieties and is home to not just wineries. Here you’ll also find cheese and chocolate tasting, distilleries and breweries.
It’s only a short two hour drive north of Sydney, so what are you waiting for?
Simply put, indulge yourself. You’re going to want to try all the chocolates, cheese and wine you can in the area and for that you’re going to need a designated driver. That’s where we come in. Jump on a one day Hunter Valley tour and experience the best that the area has to offer.
If you have an itinerary in mind why not get in touch with us and we can organise a private tour for you.
The hunter valley has over 150 cellar doors, yep you read that right, 150. Visit some of the best such as Tyrells and Tulloch in Pokolbin. Stomp wines and Lucy’s run in Lovedale are also worth checking out. There’s plenty to choose from so we hope you’re thirsty.
If you’re feeling peckish we suggest sampling cheeses at the Hunter Valley Cheese company or indulging on chocolates at Cocoa nib. There’s plenty of amazing restaurant to try out as well for lunch or dinner.
After all that wine tasting and indulging you might need to walk it off so how about a walk through the Hunter Valley Gardens to cap off the day.
