Description
This tour is a laid-back adventure, and all the beauty of the untainted coastline will be revealed. But you will have more time to see the seals at “The Brothers” islands and take your time to enjoy any dolphins that may surface along the way. It is surrounded on two sides by agricultural land and Coffin Bay National Park. Smaller tables are available on the new boat for socializing with family, friends, or visitors.
Departures
- Departs Coffin Bay boat ramp 9.30 am
We will invite you to our oyster farm to learn more about how we raise our oysters and to pick some fresh oysters that you can enjoy right away. That is as fresh as it gets. On the farm, there is an option to walk around in the water. If you want to really immerse yourself in the experience, wear your swimsuit, or, if you’d rather, waders. BYOT towel Waders are available for sharing. Above all, each person gets a dozen oysters. The oyster farmer, who is your tour guide, will be happy to give you information about oyster farming. Its history and local knowledge as you explore the waterways of Coffin Bay.
Please remember to dress for the weather since this is a boat tour. A warm jacket and beanie are recommended. The wind blowing over the sea can rapidly become very cold, even on a sunny day. Include a camera, sunscreen, and sunglasses in your list of essentials. Wear your swimsuit for a quick entry into the water on nice days. If you think you might get into the water at the farm and don’t want to wait for the communal waders, please bring a towel of your own.
Important info before travel
We suggest that you plan for a trip on a boat. Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, a warm jacket in case the wind comes up and comfortable footwear. If you are participating in the waders experience on the 3hr tour please bring a towel for after and socks to wear in the waders. In the warmer months it is lovely just to wear your bathers if you prefer.
