On day 2, visit the stunning Sawa-I- Lau Caves.

South Sea Cruises scheduled vessel transfer from Blue Lagoon Region to Mantaray Region in Standard Class Enjoy a leisurely morning until an early afternoon transfer takes you to the central area of the Yasawas with beautiful beaches, friendly Fijians and relaxed surrounding.

On day 4 (from May to Oct) swim with manta ray or head out on a guided snorkelling trip.

• As Mantarays & Sharks are wild animals we cannot guarantee sightings. If poor weather and sea conditions result in the cancellation of the “Guided Reef Snorkel with the Sharks” or the “Swim with the Mantarays” a substitute snorkelling safari will be provided.

After a relaxed morning, jump on board the Yasawa Flyer mid-afternoon and head to the southernmost island in the Yasawa Islands. Spend the rest of the day exploring the dramatic landscapes of the area.

On the morning of day 6, head out for the snorkel with reef sharks experience. In the afternoon, board the Yasawa Flyer bound for South Sea Island.

• Please print a copy of our e-ticket or have it readily available on your smart phone/tablet, or note down your booking reference number for check-in.
• The Resorts’ booked through Awesome Adventures Fiji will provide you with linen, towels, and most provide basic toiletries – some properties may charge a small fee for the use of towels in their dorms. We suggest that you bring your own toiletries and may also wish to bring your own towel as well as sunscreen, insect repellent (with DEET or similar), swimwear, a sunhat, and sunglasses. Light, loose clothing is recommended during the day with something warmer for those cooler evenings. The resorts all have generators with the majority operating 24 hours a day, voltage and power sockets are the same as those used in Australia and New Zealand (220 – 240 volts).
• Unless otherwise stipulated by the resort you are staying at, we do advise not to drink the water in the rooms/bures as in many cases this is not potable water. However, most of the resorts we book do ensure that the water accessing the kitchen, bar and the restaurant is all filtered to drinking standards. All the resorts will have filtered drinking water available for you to refill your reusable drink bottle.
• There are no banks in the Mamanuca or Yasawa Islands, so please take a credit/debit card for any incidentals. You will find ATM cash machines at Nadi International Airport, Wailoaloa Bay and at Port Denarau should you wish to take a small amount of cash with you.

• Meals are NOT included in the accommodation price and the set Meal Plan costs must be either prepaid at the time of booking or paid directly at each of the resorts upon check-in (in Fijian dollars). Prices are determined by the resorts and may be subject to price increases as each Resort reserves the right to change the cost of their compulsory meal packages (not common but can happen). Meals are normally served at specific times of the day e.g., breakfast 8am – 9am, providing an opportunity for you to meet fellow travellers. Meal plans commence from arrival at your resort. You will generally arrive at your resort in time for lunch, therefore day one will include Lunch and Dinner. On the day of your departure from each resort, only Breakfast will be included. Should your resort connection not depart for your next destination until after lunch and you wish to have lunch while waiting this will be at your own cost. If you have not already advised us, we recommend that you notify your resort as soon as you arrive if you have any dietary requirements.

• General Information and Booking Conditions

  1. INFORMATION ON THE WEBSITE

  The website rates were updated in September 2024 and are valid for travel until 31 March 2026.

  1a Facilities or services may change after the date of publication. We endeavour to keep trade partners and customers informed of any changes to the information on this website that is brought to our attention. Prior to booking your trip, customers should ask their travel agent or Awesome Adventures Fiji directly about any changes to the published information of which your agent may be aware.

  1b All maps, illustrations, and photographs are for indicative purposes only and may not necessarily reflect actual places or positioning.

  1c For Island Stay Packages and Awesome Passes, accommodation must be consecutive at the same resort to qualify for the minimum 4-night bonus offers. Important: Resorts have the right to change conditions and bonus offers. Late checkouts are subject to availability at the time of stay and may incur an additional cost by the resort.

  1d Room types can vary across packages.

  1e All dorms & room types with “shared bathroom facilities” have a minimum age of 18 years – people 17 years and under are not permitted in these room categories.

   

  2. AWESOME EXPERIENCES

  These are the activities that are identified under the Awesome Experiences inclusions section for each package. Awesome Experiences activities are subject to sea, weather and other conditions. Awesome Adventures Fiji reserves the right to substitute Awesome Experiences activities with other products in the event that the listed activity is unavailable. All activities will be based on the activities provided at the hotel confirmed in the final itinerary and may be substituted for an alternative should they not be available or operational upon client’s arrival.  No refunds or compensation are offered for any unused proportion or change to an Awesome Experience.

  2a As sharks are wild animals we can’t guarantee sightseeing however we do have a high success rate. If poor weather and sea conditions result in the cancellation of the “Shark Snorkel Encounter” then a substitute snorkelling safari will be provided.

  2b The Swim with manta ray inclusion is seasonal (May till October) and subject to there being manta rays in the region. An alternative snorkelling trip will be provided should the manta rays not be sighted.

  2c The Bonus Day Pass to Malamala Beach Club included in the Inclusive Packages can be used either pre or post the trip to the Yasawa Islands. A date for this trip should be pre-booked to ensure availability.  No refund or compensation is available should the pass not be utilised.

  2d Some activities may require minimum numbers to operate (eg the Sawa-i-Lau Caves excursion requires minimum 2 people) so clients will be doing the included activities with other resort guests staying inhouse.

  2e For Dive Packages, age, and medical restrictions apply to any scuba diving activities. A medical questionnaire must be completed by the Company operating the Dive. Scuba divers cannot fly for 24 hours after diving and the company accepts no liability for medical conditions experienced as a result of diving or flying after diving.

  4. PRICES AND CURRENCY

  All prices include 15% Fiji Government taxes and levies where applicable. All prices are per person. Double/Twin rates are per person based on a minimum of two people booking and sharing the same room/bure. Triple share pricing is based on three people booking and sharing the same room/bure.

  4a Right to Vary: Prices through some agents may vary due to currency fluctuations. Due to events beyond our control such as currency fluctuations, tax increases or changes to the cost of services and facilities, we reserve the right to vary the price to you up to the time of your departure.

  4b While we try our utmost not to increase our prices, this is sometimes outside our control. On that basis, we reserve the right to amend our prices although amendments should occur only in the instance of increases in our costs to deliver the packages such as but not limited to, fuel costs, government taxes and charges, exchange rate fluctuations, and ground costs beyond the control of Awesome Adventures Fiji and which are deemed material to operations. Any increase in price must be paid before departure.

  4c Child Prices: This can vary from property to property therefore all child prices are on application through the Awesome Adventures Fiji’s reservations team.  All dorms have a minimum age of 18 years – people 17 years and under are not permitted in this room category.

   

  5. MEAL COSTS

  • For the “Island Stay” bookings, where an additional price is shown under “meals” these are the compulsory meal plan/resort package prices as provided by the hotels. These prices are per person per night and include 3 meals per day stayed unless otherwise stated and can either be paid at the time of booking (for hotels that allow pre-payment of meals) or upon check-in at each of the hotels in local currency, FJ$ (for resorts that state “Pay Direct” under Meals). Where meals are listed as included or have a daily price, clients will receive 3 meals per day stayed.   For “Arrival & Departure” packages, the meal prices shown are for daily breakfast only.
  • Important: Meal Plans for the “Multi-night Inclusive Packages” & “Awesome Passes” are not able to be pre-purchased.  Therefore, all meals are to be paid directly to each resort stayed at in the itinerary once passengers are in Fiji.  The resort meal packages are compulsory and must be taken once at the resorts as there are no alternative dining options.
  • Meal rates are correct at the time of issue and are subject to change by the resorts.
  • When meal plans are prebooked (for Island Stays only), any/all dietary requirements and/or allergies must be requested/advised at the time of booking, so we can pass this important information to the resorts. There are no refunds or credits for any unused meals.
  • Meal plans commence from arrival at your resort. You will arrive at your resort in time for lunch, therefore day one will include Lunch and Dinner.  Breakfast only will be included on date of your departure from the resort.  Should your resort connection not depart for your next destination until after lunch and you wish to have lunch while waiting this meal will be at your own cost.
