Important info before travel
Bring a daypack size backpack up to 20 liters volume to carry your belongings. These should include the following:
- full water bottle
- sun glasses, sun screen and hat
- bathers and small towel
- raincoat (the weather is changeable)
- a change of clothes (if the weather is wet)
- camera (to capture your amazing moments)

The tours sold through this website are subject to availability and can be withdrawn without notice.
The tour is confirmed when your full payment is received and after we sent you a tax invoice and booking conformation.
Tour Itinerary
Byron Bay Adventure Tours reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary whenever it is deemed necessary for the comfort, convenience and safety of the client at any time. In all cases, Byron Bay Adventure Tours will do its best to maintain the content, if not the order, of the tour.
What’s Included
The range of included services is mentioned under “What´s Included” in the brochures, on our website and in the booking confirmation of Byron Bay Adventure Tours. Changes and alterations of single points in our tour conditions which where necessary after signing the contract are agreed to as long as they don’t change the style of the tour significant. Byron Bay Adventure Tours reserves the right to adjust the route slightly before the start of the tour.
Cancelation and Refunds
Cancellation less then 24 hours prior to departure date and time or no show: no refund.
Cancellation less then 48 hours but more then 24 hours prior to departure date and time: refund 75% of the full tour price (25% of the full tour price will be held back as cancellation fee).
Cancellation more than 48 hours prior to departure date and time : refund 85% of the full tour price (15% of the full tour price will be held back as cancellation fee).
NOTE: SPECIAL OFFER-BOOKINGS AND PRIVATE TOURS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE.
Byron Bay Adventure Tours reserve the right to cancel a tour. The main reason for such a cancellation would usually be due to the minimum number of 4 tour participants is not reached or due to dangerous weather conditions. In the event of a cancellation of your tour, the only obligation of the tour operator is to either provide you with a full refund of the monies you have paid to book the tour cancelled or to offer you an alternative tour. The alternative tour options offered invariably operate on different dates to your original choice; making it all the more difficult to fit around your other prearranged plans. To take up the alternative tour options you will usually have to amend your other arrangements either side of your Byron Bay visit. Any expenses associated with those changes such as flight amendments/cancellations, accommodation etc. is the sole responsibility of you, and not Byron Bay Adventure Tours.
Unclaimed Benefits
Should the client not be able to complete the tour or to consume benefits included in the price of the tour, for reasons neither caused by him nor the tour operator, he has no right to claim a refund.
Insurance
Our tour price does not include any travel insurances. An adequate travel, health and accident insurance is mandatory to participate on the tours.
Responsibility
Byron Bay Adventure Tours is responsible for providing the services listed in the tour description according to the local standards and the accurate description of services offered in its pamphlets. It is understood and agreed that Byron Bay Adventure Tours is not the guardian of any customers safety and they can not be held liable in any way for any occurrences in connection with the client’s participation on the tour. Byron Bay Adventure Tours disclaims all responsibility and all liability (including without limitation, liability in negligence) for all expenses, losses, damages, accidents, injuries and costs you might incur as a result of joining our tour.
Your safety is our concern but your responsibility.
Release and Waiver
Every participant of our tours has to sign a waiver before we start the tour.
Although we take every measure to keep you safe, well and happy, we do strongly recommend that you have your own insurance in place.
Terms and Conditions
With your booking you accept the Terms and Conditions as a binding contract between you and Byron Bay Adventure Tours. The travel contract is accomplished by the written confirmation of Byron Bay Adventure Tours.
