What can I do?
Start with exploring Perth and it’s surrounds. Visit the port city of Fremantle or take the ferry across to Rottnest island to get a selfie with a cute Quokka! South of Perth you can explore Margaret River region. There’s plenty of delicious wineries to visit and beaches to swim and surf.
Heading north of Perth you can visit the mysterious Pinnacles desert. Further north you can check out Kalbarri national park and feed the dolphins at Monkey Mia. Head north again and you’ll come across the Ningaloo reef. Coral Bay and Exmouth are two great spots to stop and explore the fringing reef system. Swim with Whale sharks or snorkel with sea turtles for a once in a lifetime experience.
Cape Range national park is in this area too so make sure to check it out. Head East inland for a couple of hours from here to explore the waterholes and hiking trails of Karijini national park.
Stop off in Broome to relax for a couple of days and enjoy sunset on cable beach. The Kimberley is an amazing area to explore and if you have a 4 wheel drive you can conquer the Gibb river road in the dry season.
